THE FUTURE?

My future looks bright.  I know who I am & where I'm going.  I am not afraid of growing older & I welcome the peace & contentment I feel as I enter this new phase of my life.  However, an empty nest does not mean it's an empty life!  My life is full & I believe it will continue to be full in the future.

Changes I'd Like to See - I wish we weren't so far away from some of our kids/grandkids.  We'd like to see them more often.  I'd secretly like to see time slow down a bit - kids just grow too quickly!  As our family continues to grow, I can't help but want to spend more time with them & develop a better relationship with my grandchildren.  As they get older & become more involved in their own activities it will become increasingly more difficult to find time to spend with them...not very many cool teenagers want to spend time with boring grandparents?  I'd like to become more exciting to be around in my old age...I will have to talk to my friend, The Fairy Godmother, about that one...she's been making my dreams come true for a long time now.

My friend, Claire, has worked for Disney for years.  We used to teach cheer camps together.

Please, Don't Change!  We do get to travel quite a bit & those experiences are marvelous!  We enjoy good health & I hope our health holds up so that we can continue our adventures & enjoy this beautiful world Heavenly Father created for us.  I'd like to continue to be able to play with our grandchildren & I would really like to continue to be able to keep up with grandpa...so far so good!
